You\u2019re not waiting long enough<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A lot of people don\u2019t realize how long it takes for a page to rank organically in Google. The truth is that a lot of SEO is just about waiting.<\/p>\n<p>Ahrefs did a <a href=\"https:\/\/ahrefs.com\/blog\/how-long-does-it-take-to-rank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">study <\/a>in which they crawled over 2 million pages and found how long it took for them to rank on the first page of Google.<\/p>\n<p>The results were startling. They found that only 5% of the pages ranked in less than a year. That means that over 95% of web pages took over a year to rank in Google.<\/p>\n<p>A lot of bloggers expect results fast, but they need to be patient. You\u2019re not promoting your content<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You won\u2019t build a blog audience if you don\u2019t get any eyeballs to your content.<\/p>\n<p>People either don\u2019t promote their content, or they do it the wrong way. Spamming your content is only going to hurt your website. You need to develop a smart strategy for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blogbrandz.com\/tips\/blog-promotion-tips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">promoting your blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The first thing is to create social media profiles for your blog. The ideal word length is around 1800 words.<\/p>\n<p>The best way to create <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blogbrandz.com\/tips\/long-form-vs-short-form-content\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">long-form content<\/a> is not to stuff as many words as you can, but to create a valuable and well-research post.<\/p>\n<p>You should create content that people find helpful. It should answer their questions in some way. You\u2019re using dubious link-building strategies<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blogbrandz.com\/tips\/pinterest-traffic-avalanche-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">getting traffic to your blog<\/a>, it might be that your website has been penalized by Google.<\/p>\n<p>Google forbids us from building links for the purpose of affecting our ranking. This is considered manipulation, and it can get you a penalty from Google. This helps you figure out where you\u2019re lacking and need to improve.
