Blog Business Summit: Wish I Was There!
Reading about the topics covered at the recent Blog Business Summit made me green with envy for not being there to hear all these A-list bloggers speak. 
One consolation of missing all those excellent presentations was that they are available for download or viewing here.
Here’s a summary of the topics:
Robert Scoble delivered the keynote address on the Blog Advantage that revealed why blogs are eating the lunch of many traditionally architected sites,a nd how to take full advantage of it.
Chris Pirillo and Marc Canter discussed Blog Business Models and the ROI in blogging, from revenue-generating sales sites to cost-reducing support portals.
Molly Holzschlag discussed some of the best ways to build blog traffic quickly, increase interest in you and your product or service, and improve your bottom-line results.
Corante's Stowe Boyd and Robert Scoble hosted a webcast entitled "True Voice: The Business of Blogging" and will involve various panelists from the conference addressing the themes now surrounding the exploding use of blogs in the business context.
Steve Broback and Glenn Fleishman discussed monetizing entrepreneurial blogs and showed how they manage multiple blogs for profit and the practical realities of the game.
Molly Holzschlag and DL Byron compared blogging platforms and engines and gave tips on how to pick the optimal platform.
Stowe Boyd and Halley Suitt discussed the Art and Science of Blog Writing and showed how to refine your writing to engage in a richer dialog with your community of readers.
DL Byron and D. Keith Robinson has a session on Good Blog Design discussing how proper blog design can insure your branding, position, and message are optimally projected, while beautiful, cross-device, navigable, and fast loading sites that search engines love are a must. They showed what top bloggers do to get teh best of all worlds.
Lenn Pryor and Matthew Oliphant covered critical strategy and policy areas related to Corporate Blogging, and how to set the stage for responsible posting among employees.
Buzz Bruggeman and Pete Blackshaw discussed how to leverage the growing adoption of RSS readers and blog reading to plan your marketing and PR campaigns, and covered how to leverage the self-publishing efforts of employees, executives, partners, and customers to your organizations advantage.
Robert Scoble, Buzz Bruggeman, Anil Dash discussed how PR professionals worldwide are learning to take bloggers seriously and revealed the best leverage and damage control techniques, as well as how to get bloggers to deliver the right positive message about your company.
Nick Finck, Biz Stone, and Mary Hodder discussed how inexpensive Blogs and Wikis can provide corporates with an integrated communication and information-sharing system that enhances internal communications.
Lenn Pryor, Chris Pirillo, and Jake Ludington gave a presentation on Podcasting and how it can help the 17 billion dollar a year radio advertising market, drivetime listeners, and how to capture the attention of a targeted slice of this audience for little to no cost. Also how to get your content into audio format, and the considerations for video broadcasting.
